Real Madrid and Vinicius Jr still holding talks over salary increments || Macqathylive Sports

Real Madrid have made a new contract renewal offer to Vinícius Jr., reopening talks that had been stalled for almost a year.

The offer has increased to €22M per year, but it still falls short of the approximately €30M the forward is seeking. 

Vinícius Jr. currently earns around €17.5M per year. Vinícius Jr. is asking for a €10M salary increase, along with improved bonus terms and image rights. As of now, no new meeting has been scheduled between Vinícius Jr. and Real Madrid.

The player and his representatives believe that, at 26, this is the biggest contract of his career and feel Real Madrid should reward everything he has contributed since joining the club in 2018. 

If no agreement is reached, Vinícius Jr. will be free to sign a pre-contract with any club starting in January
