Ghanaian rap Lord Sarkodie has got the airwaves buzzing with his new single Eno Easy, a song which he featured Ghanapiano crooners DopeNation. But there's a twist to this banging hits.
Over the years Sarkodie has been criticized by a cross section of Ghana's entertainment industry, in his approach on riding on other trending artists shine and how unacceptable it is. Some emphasized it to when Wisa Gried released his debut song, Ekiki Me and some new artists who emerged at the time. Sarkodie quickly linked up with their camp for a collaboration for a remix which eventually became a hit. An approach some people are not happy about it including Samini, after he felt snobbed by Sarkodie when he requested they have another record together.
Samini who Sarkodie featured on his Love Rock song in 2014 became furious making his recounts on how he gave Sarkodie and an express reception when he reached out to him to record Love Rock, a song which become one of the biggest rap reggae fused song which gave way for other musicians to jump on the riddim.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Showtym With Andy Dosty on Adom TV some few years ago Samini said Sarkodie was disrespectful for have kept his record more than usual, comparing times when he Sarkodie wanted him on Love Rock a major rap dancehall tune of our time.
