The Minister Of Education , Haruna Iddrisu has assured that, there will be a full investigation into the death of Ms. Innocentia Avinu, who was a level 200 student at the Univeristy of Cape Coast and has urged the university to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation.
Innocentia was found de+d on the beach of Cape Coast 30 hours after she was said to have gone missing with no missing body parts or any visible body harm.
Friends and loved ones are saddened by the news and are trusting law enforcement agencies to provide them with answers.
The Ministry also extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the university community.
“She was full of life and comes from a good home and very well behaved so it’s surprising that someone would do this to he. No one has any excuse to take her life from her and the State has that responsibility to find who did that to her because it’s her today and it could be any of us tomorrow, so we must ensure she gets justice.”
