The Eastern Southern Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service has published a press release dated 26 May, 2026 in connection with the arm robbery incident that occured at Kwafokrom Goil Filling Station on Sunday, 24th May. Currently two suspects have been picked up paving the way for further investigation to apprehend other accomplices.
During the robbery they shot two staffs on duty and made away with ¢13,000 Ghana cedis and assorted provisions value yet to be confirmed. The security officer and the pump attendant whom they shot are said to be in a stable condition.
The police has assured to pursue other accomplices to face prosecution. Items found on them are pictured below.
