Remember Yaw Siki: Rejects ‘Wope Dodo’ Earnings, Calls His Hit Song Unholy

Yaw Siki, the musician-turned-preacher, has claimed that he will not profit from his hit song “Wope Dodo.”

In an interview on Kessben Drive, which he later shared on X, he noted that any earnings from the song would be firmly declined, as he described it as unholy and incompatible with his current faith.

He explained, “I am sure Killbeatz and co. are the ones handling the revenue from the song. If they give me money generated from the song, I won’t take it unless they package it as a gift without my knowledge. Since I am no longer living that lifestyle, it is an unholy song.”

When asked about performing “Wope Dodo” at concerts, he said he would completely avoid the situation.

“I won’t even go to the show if promoters ask me to perform the song,” Yaw Siki emphasized.
