Reports from Italy have claimed that Inter Milan are expecting Chelsea to make a big bid for Andre Onana soon.
According to Calcio Mercato Web, the Serie A side are contemplating their goalkeeper position as they appreciate the Blues are interested in their number one.
A goalkeeper is sure to be on the horizon for the Premier League outfit this season as they look to make the changes required to give Mauricio Pochettino the best chance possible to rebuild next season.
It has been claimed for a number of weeks now that the Blues are keen on Onana as a new number one, off the back of some sensational performances particularly in the Champions League this season.
The Cameroon international is a big reason his side made the unlikely run to the final to set up a date with Manchester City.
Chelsea big bid for Onana
While Chelsea have been reportedly very interested in a deal, the same cannot be said for the new manager, Pochettino.
This week finally saw the Argentine announced as the next manager ahead of the new campaign, with a number of positions needing addressing.
The goalkeeper one has been claimed before as one that the new man in charge wants to strengthen.
However, previous reports suggest that Onana is not one of the names he had in mind to bring in to his new side.
It will be a big moment in terms of who is actually running things at Stamford Bridge as to whether the manager gets the final say over who will play in goal next season, as it has been claimed in the past that the ownership have been keen to have the final say.
