A few years back, Wizkid wrote some songs for Drake, and one of them, "One Dance," became a massive hit. However, Drake's team removed Wizkid's verse leaving him with only backup vocals.
Later, Wizkid invited Drake to collaborate on his track "Come Closer," but Drake didn't appear in the video. Even after releasing the official video, Drake never shared or mentioned the collaboration.
Fast forward to 2023, and Drake is now eager to feature with Tems, whom Wizkid put on. The lesson here is to keep grinding and not be disheartened if someone or a system doesn't validate us. The stars are watching, and the tables can turn around.
