The independent presidential aspirant Kwame Aseidu Walker and his vice Mr Jacob Osei Yeboah has engaged the media on the 30th of october in a press briefing to climax their Accra media tour which took effect last week Monday.
Meeting the press, His Excellency Kwame Aseidu who is vying on the ticket as independent presidential candidate, outlined important basic needs his team believes if considered as a nation will uplift the economy and give a better livelihood to the Ghanaian citizens when given the opportunity.
He clearly stated, his movement will not tolerate any sort of propaganda that will attract just votes but won't benefit the people just as the two main political parties NDC and NPP are known for. He said Ghanaians are tired about the lies and deserves better. Mr Walker says enough opportunity have been given to the two main political parties in the country for so long, for that matter is about time Ghanaians must invite a new face to the presidency for a positive change in their lives.
Speaking at a press briefing at his Airport resident the new face of the independent movement gave his assertion on various current affairs facing the country. When quizzed about the tariffs charged by telecommunication companies in Ghana, he said he believes in Ghanaian ownership system. He's optimistic when government partners with these Ghanaian owned companies these tariffs can be regulated properly, he said;
He further addressed the issue of bloggers on social media, although he was impress with some of the works they carry out there he feels they're not making enough gains.
he was unhappy to overhear the closure of some radio stations in the country over allegation which does not benefit the government, he had this to say;
