Arsenal is looking to further strengthen their squad in the next few weeks of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners made their first signing of the summer last week when Willian joined the club on a free transfer after the expiry of his contract at Chelsea.
The Brazilian winger signed a three-year deal at the Emirates Stadium, but Mikel Arteta will now be looking to add further.
Defender Gabriel Magalhaes has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days, with the Gunners looking to beat off competition from Napoli and Manchester United for the Lille man.
Another prime target for Areta is Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, however, the Spanish side is insistent that the Ghanian will only leave should his £45 million release clause be met.
But a post on Twitter by the player’s public relations officer, Samuel Zigah, has some fans wondering if it is a hint to his client’s future.
He posted: “God’s plan” alongside a cross and praying hands emojis, prompting a reaction from Gunners’ fans on social media.
