As reported by our outfit, Mzbel was arrested after she alleged Stacy Amoateng is HIV positive.
Well, the Criminal Investigative Department-CID has detailed the full story of how and why the singer and media personality, Mzbel was arrested.
Speaking on Angel FM in Accra, a representative at the CID headquarters confirmed that Mzbel has been detained at the special investigative unit of the CID headquarters.
They also reaffirmed that the singer was arrested over allegations that Stacy Amoateng is HIV positive.
According to the representative, the officer-in-charge told him that he can’t give much information about the issue but stated that the CID is interrogating Mzbel.
He also revealed that the CID has seized her phone and other electronic gadgets on her when she was arrested.
As of the time of filing this report, Mzbel is still in the custody of the CID headquarters.
Looking at events, Mzbel would have to pass the night at the police station.
