The Minister of Information of the Republic of Ghana, Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has shown his excitement over the recent brouhaha in the music industry of African Dancehall King Shatta Wale coming with a featured music video baring American singer and wife of American rapper Jay-Z, Beyonce in their Already music video.
The Foase member of parliament who will be contesting again in the upcoming polls in December took to twitter to congratulate the Dancehall gem. In his tweet he said, “Congratulations Shatta Wale you have made Ghana proud”.
Shatta Wale later retweeted upong seeing his tweet and said “Thank you minister” and hashtagged #ShattaDay.
This hashtag by Shatta Wale however has raised many eyebrows within the music fraternity. As at now people want to know if he was seeking for a public holiday contrary to what he's able to achieve for the country although he's not the first to do same.
