Kente Colours Matter As U.S Congress Reps Wearing Stoles Of Kente For Black Lives Matter Campaign Goes Viral | PHOTOS

US Congress has hit hard on the culture reset button that further makes Kente a powerful fashionable depiction and representation of Africa and its race.
Reps of the house, led by Nancy Pelosi, wore stoles made of the rich Ghanaian fabric today in solidarity to the Black Lives Matter campaign as the house announced a major police reform bill.
The bill would make dramatic changes to police policy across America and will undo decades-old laws that some activists believe has led to the deaths of black men and women at the hands of officers.
With this coming after George Floyd’s death, Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic Congress reps knelt on a knee for 8 minutes to observe a moment of silence for George.
Pictures from the occasion today caught wild attention on social media and Ghanaian news outlets never missed trumpeting the culture reset gesture from the reps.
