Reports reaching us indicate that ace broadcaster has just been announced as the new general manager of GhOne Tv one of the subsidiaries of EIB Network.
It is no news that the station has been having severe financial crisis over the past few years as the CEO Bola Ray himself admitted it some time last year. This financial downturn in the company has resulted in several top staff ditching the media house.
The likes of Berla Mundi, Giovanni Caleb, AK Sarpong, Naa Ashorkor, Kafui Dey and Anita Erskine amongst several others have jumped ships unto other competing media houses admist the crisis in GhOne TV.
The situation worsened to the extent that a few weeks ago, some technical staff of the station embarked on a sit down strike to register their displeasure with the management over the non payment of salaries for several months. Their actions led to the station being off air for several hours.
Admist all the drama ongoing in the firm one of the staff who has remained loyal to the firm has been Nana Aba Anamoah. Regardless of not being paid for several months the news editor still goes about all her normal duties without a frown.
It therefore comes as no surprise that she has been elevated to this postion. Announcing her new appointment via social media she wrote;
“Congratulations to the new General Manager of @GHOneTV , @thenanaaba …. Higher heights ”

Many onliners who are avid viewers of the station are optimistic about her appointment. They are hopeful that under her leadership GhOne would overcome their financial struggles.
