Popular South African entertainer, DJ Black Coffee has confirmed that his wife Enhle Mbali has filed court papers for divorce.
According to DJ Black Coffee, they’ve been having issues in their marriage for almost a year which they couldn’t settle amicably. He, however, asked for privacy as they go through the divorce process.
In a statement released on Twitter, captioned “a statement” Black Coffee said: “After much deliberation since the story of our relationship broke in public, I wish to state that we have been trying to sort our problems amicably and in private for almost a year now and it has been the most heartbreaking and challenging period. [sic]”
He further disclosed that their marital crisis is double-faced but won’t make him discuss his private life in the public, neither would it make him speak ill of ‘his’ partner or ‘his’ in-laws.
“As Mbali has stated, our priority are to protect our children at this point. [sic],” he said.
