Ghanaianan Songstress Becca has appealed to Ghanaian artistes to
invest and market their songs like their Nigerian counterparts do.
Becca in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM told Andy Dosty that though Ghanaians do not generally patronize Ghanaian music, it was up to the artistes to help change that narrative.
“the thing also is that we the artistes ourselves are not putting money into our music. We are not marketing, pushing our music.”
Using Davido as an example, Becca observed the ‘If’ hitmaker placed banners on various platforms to advertise and draw traffic to the songs he released.
“Once somebody is on top of your mind every time, naturally you gravitate towards the person,” the singer stressed.
Becca also advised her fellow musicians to also improve on their craft.
